“Virtual Library of Torfæus” is my latest project examining manuscripts of Old Norse sagas owned by Thormod Torfæus (1636-1719), an Icelander serving as royal antiquarian at the Danish court. The project has recently been generously funded by the Carlsberg Foundation and the Independent Research Fund Denmark for total of 2.000.000 DKK.
